The Library Information Centre at Cardinal Carter Catholic High School is a hub of student activity. Students and staff have access to 27 networked computers with internet access, online database programs, and several software programs supporting curriculum. Students can print in black and white and colour. A photocopier and two scanners are also available for use. Two portable multimedia laptop stations can
be booked by teachers for in-class instruction and seminar presentations.
The library is home to more than 15,000 items, including subscriptions to high interest magazines, three daily newspapers and a growing electronic reference collection. The Library staff teaches a variety of information study and research skills to students of all grades and subject areas and assists with personal study skills, research questions, and reading interests.
