We all know them, and if we don’t, we should. These individuals are at the heart and soul of Catholic education. They are the unsung heroes that make our school a better place. They are our champions. Yesterday morning, we finally had a chance to celebrate them.
The Breakfast of Champions celebrates students at Cardinal Carter who live and breathe the Catholic virtues of faith, hope and love, and they do so every day without any claim or entitlement to pomp and circumstance. They do so because it’s the right thing to do.
Students are nominated by their teachers to receive this honour. They spent the morning enjoying some refreshments as teachers and administration tipped their caps off for all of their hard work and contributions to the school community. We would like to extend huge congratulations to all of our honoured student guests and as well as tremendous gratitude for their ability to make our school a better place to be, simply by being themselves. You rock!
