Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year. We continue to work with our stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education and York Region Public Health, to ensure a safe return to school.

YCDSB secondary schools will re-enter the school year on staggered entry dates. Please send your child to school on the following dates according to their grade and cohort.
Grade 9 Orientation will happen as follows:

Grade 9 students in Cohort A will attend Grade 9 Orientation in person on September 10 – Grade 9 students in Cohort B and remote learning students will attend virtually

Grade 9 students in Cohort B will attend Grade 9 Orientation in person on September 11 – Grade 9 students in Cohort A and remote learning students will attend virtually
School begins on the following dates:

For Grades 9 to 12 in Cohort A, the first day of in-person school Is Monday, September 14 – students in Cohort B and remote learning will attend virtually

Tuesday, September 15 – students in Cohort A and remote learning students will attend virtually
Once students return to school on their designated start date, they will continue to attend school following their regular schedule.
